Setting Up Email Preferences (User Settings)

This article is for individual user email settings. The previous article shows System Wide email settings.

Note: In order for a user to adjust these settings, he/she needs to be in the 'Admin' or 'User Settings' group. See Users & Groups for more information. (An admin can edit these settings for all users, a person with just the 'User Settings' permission can adjust only their own information.)

Emailing from various areas of PrintPoint

PrintPoint allows you to send emails from several areas in the software (e.g., Quotes, Purchase Orders, Invoicing, Shipping).

The following steps are COMMON for all email areas. Subject and Message boxes will have different information auto-entered depending on what area you are in.

Please make sure you have set your Email Preferences and User Settings as described in the previous articles.

Attachments - Overview

Any of your production files, instructions, images, and proofs can be attached to Estimates, Jobs, RFQ's, and Product Orders. Attachments are stored on a common server, and all users (with permission) can have access to actual Job files for production or for historical reference.
