Updating Mac Server

1. Log off all Clients and QUIT the PrintPoint Server Application

2. Open the PrintPoint 6 Server Folder to find the PrintPoint 6550 Server Application

Open the PrintPoint 6 Server Folder to find the PrintPoint 6550 Server Application

3. Right-click (or Control-Click) on the PrintPoint 6550 Server Application

Choose "Show Package Contents"

Right-click (or Control-Click) on the PrintPoint 6550 Server Application

4. Open the Contents Folder

Open the Contents Folder

5. Open the Server Database Folder

Open the Server Database Folder

6. Throw out 4 Files the .4DC  .4DIndy  .htm   and   .RSR files from the Server Database Folder

Throw out 4 Files the .4DC  .4DIndy  .htm   and   .RSR files from the Server Database Folder

7. Drag the new .4DC  .4DIndy   .htm   and   .RSR files you downloaded from the "Files Into Server Database" Folder to the "Server Database" Folder

Drag the new .4DC  .4DIndy   .htm   and   .RSR files you downloaded from the "Files Into Server Database" Folder to the "Server Database" Folder

8. Close all windows till you reach the PrintPoint 6500 Server Application

Double-Click the Application

Close all windows till you reach the PrintPoint 6500 Server Application

9. You will be asked to "Open" a Data File. Click "Open" and locate your data file ending .4dd

NEVER Click the CREATE button !!!!

You will be asked to "Open" a Data File. Click "Open" and locate your data file ending .4dd

10. Congratulations! You have now updated your PrintPoint Server.
