6550_63 (May 12, 2016)

Changes

General

  • Database Settings: reset the Database -> Memory settings back to 4D defaults, then increased the maximimum cache from 400MB to 4000MB. These settings return PrintPoint Server to its 6550_13 state.

Jobs

  • Fixed an issue where the Job's Date Done was not being properly set when marking the Job as done.

Materials

  • Increased the format on the Unit Cost field to display up to 6 decimal places.

Preferences

  • Font popups on the Quote, Invoice, POs, and Job Descriptions pages have been consolidated that they all behave the same. Changing the font in 1 popup will now set all the other popups properly. This was a display issue only. The popups have always set the same field, but were not notifying the other display objects of any change made.

Product Orders

  • The Complete checkbox may now be manually selected to change the completion status of all Order Items. Clicking this checkbox will add a timestamp entry to the History for the order to show who did it and when.
  • Using the closebox to exit now shows the Don't Save / Cancel / Save dialog as expected.
  • Custom feature: When downloading orders from a PrintPoint Storefront, the Due Date is used as the Ship Date for the Product Order record.
  • For  PrintPoint Storefront, Custom Orders are no longer turned into negative numbers. The storefront now uses the same sequence numbering between both Custom Orders and regular Product orders so that orders from both tables may be downloaded into PrintPoint and appear sequential.
  • Downloading of files now uses a different method for retrieving the files which should be more reliable. Some customer LANs were having occasional problems with some files.
  • Custom feature: downloading Custom Orders downloads specific special information entered for each attachment added to an order. Each attachment belongs to its own Order Item within the Product Order. The special information indicates what is to be done with the attached file.

Fixes

List Views

  • Improvements to the Find in Selection queries used in several areas when a number was entered for the query value. Now if nothing but a number is entered, the numeric fields are queried as well. If any non-numeric character is entered, the numeric fields are not included in the querying.

Paper

  • Fixed an issue where the Label checkbox was not correctly marking the record as a label

Report Manager

  • QuickReports: in the editor, an issue was fixed when trying to choose fields from related tables

New Features

Product Orders

  • List View: added an Assign button with special functions to mark orders as complete or not complete. Order items are also marked accordingly. Using these functions will add a timestamp entry to the History for the order to show who did it and when.
  • In Order Items, there is a new button to allow a user to re-download the attached files in case there was a network 'hiccup' when originally downloading the order.
